In short
- Websites at addresses ending in .rabbitflare.link are run by Rabbitflare customers, not by Rabbitflare.
- To report phishing, malware, spam or other abuse on one of them, or on any other site we host, email [email protected].
- Send the full address of the page and what you saw. We read every report.
- When a site breaks our Terms of Service, we act on it, which can mean taking it offline.
Sites on rabbitflare.link
Every website on Rabbitflare gets a free address of its own, like your-site.rabbitflare.link, which its owner can use before
connecting a domain. Customers build and run these websites themselves. rabbitflare.link holds only customers' websites: Rabbitflare's own
pages are at rabbitflare.com, and you sign in to Rabbitflare only at app.rabbitflare.com: we never ask for your Rabbitflare password on a
rabbitflare.link page.
We don't check what customers publish, but our Terms of Service forbid using Rabbitflare for anything illegal or harmful, and we act on what we're told about.
What to report
- Phishing: pages that pretend to be another company or service, or ask for passwords or payment details under false pretences.
- Malware: sites that spread viruses or harmful downloads, including hacked sites.
- Spam sent from a site we host, or advertising one.
- Copyright or trademark infringement, and pirated software or media.
- Anything else illegal or harmful, such as content that sexually exploits children, promotes terrorism or violence, or harasses people.
How to report it
Email [email protected] with:
- the full address (URL) of each page, for example
https://your-site.rabbitflare.link/login; - what's wrong, and when you saw it;
- for spam, the full message with its headers;
- for copyright or trademark complaints, the work or mark concerned and how to reach you.
Screenshots help. Please don't attach malware or the harmful files themselves: the address is enough for us to find them. If you're reporting a crime, contact the police too.
What happens next
We look at every report. When we find that a site breaks our Terms of Service, we may remove the content, take the site or its server offline, or close the account. We usually ask the site's owner to fix it first, but we act at once when people are at risk, such as with a live phishing page. To protect our customers' privacy, we may not be able to tell you what we did.
If your site was reported
If you're a Rabbitflare customer and we contact you about your site, read our message and reply to it. Hacked WordPress sites are a common cause: update WordPress, its plugins and its theme, remove anything you don't recognize, and change your passwords. Then tell us what you did, and we'll look again. You can also open a ticket from the control panel.
