Billing, payments and the wallet
How servers are billed, paying by card or PayPal, invoices, and adding funds to your wallet.

Rabbitflare bills each server monthly, as its own subscription, however many sites it hosts. There are no setup fees, and you can cancel any server at any time. Everything about payments is on the Billing page.
How billing works
- Cloud servers
- Each server is a monthly subscription at its plan's price, charged when you create it and then every month. Resize it and its monthly price changes to the new plan's.
- Own servers
- One plan of $3.50 a month covers every server you connect, with unlimited sites. It stops when you remove your last own server.
- Rabbitflare Backup
- $2 a month for each site that uses it, plus its storage per GB, charged to your card after each month for what you used. Sites on Rabbitflare Edge pay only the storage.
- Rabbitflare Edge data transfer
- Each plan includes data transfer every month. Beyond it, each GB is charged to your card at the location's rate, as it adds up (about $20 at a time) and the rest after the month ends.
- Domains
- Registered domains are paid yearly, and renew automatically unless you turn renewal off.
The top of the Billing page shows your monthly total and your next payment, and Billing history lists every invoice, ready to download.
Payment methods

Visa

Mastercard
-
American Express

Apple Pay

Google Pay

PayPal
- Cards are paid right on the page. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Under Payment methods, Add a card, choose which one is the default (Make default), or remove one. Every server paid by card renews with the default card.
- PayPal pays from your PayPal balance, bank account or card. You approve a monthly subscription for each server on PayPal, and manage it there with Manage in PayPal.
Rabbitflare Edge servers, Rabbitflare Backup and Edge data transfer are paid by card, since they're charged as you use them.
The wallet
Add funds ahead of time and they pay your server bills, domains and Rabbitflare Backup before your card is charged: your card pays only what's left. Under Wallet, choose Add funds and an amount from $10 to $2000, paid by card now.
- Funds never expire. They can't be refunded or withdrawn.
- Servers paid through PayPal are billed by PayPal, so the wallet doesn't pay for them.
If a payment fails
The panel shows a notice, and we email you. Update your card under Payment methods (or your payment in PayPal) and the payment is taken again. If it stays unpaid, the server is suspended: visitors to every site on it see a maintenance page until it's settled. A suspended server that's still unpaid after the date shown on its page is deleted, with its sites and backups, so please settle it before then.
Cancel a server
To stop paying for a server, destroy it from its Destroy tab; see Destroy a server. Its subscription ends and you aren't charged for it again. For your own servers, disconnecting them does the same; the plan ends with the last one.
